Everything is really growing and the patio is looking quite colourful and crowded.

This time last year guests were having breakfast on the patio, but to date, only cream teas have been taken outside. The sun has been quite warm, but not at the right times!

Midsummers Day  was dreadful, it was so grey and misty, we could hardly see up the field. Since then, we have had some lovely weather, but as I write, the sky is clouding over and the wind is getting strong. Maybe tomorrow...
 

We managed an early morning stroll into Port Isaac and photographed what could be called a gargoyle and the unusually deserted lane down to the port. Mornings like this are very rare for us at this time of year, so we had an early lunch before heading back home to greet our guests.

Unfortunately this is not our pond. We are just aiming high!
